WE  CHECKED SOME HOMEWORK ABOUT DEFINING AND NON DEFINING RELATIVES CLAUSES.
THERE WAS AN EXERCISE IN WICH FIRST YOU HAD TO DECIDE  WHETHER THE SENTENCE WAS DEFINING OR NON DEFINING. THEN YOU WERE GIVEN  SOME PHRASES FOR YOU TO COMPLETE THE NON DEFINING ONES.
 SOME OF YOU HAD BEEN ABSENT THE CLASS BEFORE,SO WE HAD TO REVISE THEIR USE. -THEN WE PRACTISED ANOTHER EXERCISE FOR YOU TO ADD THE PUNCTUATION DEPENDING ON THE TYPE OF CLAUSE
ON THE SECOND PART, YOU HAD THE SPECIAL CLASS ABOUT SUMMER TIME; SOME OF YOU VISITED ANOTHER CLASSRROM TO BE THE TEACHERS AND SOME STUDENTS FROM THE OTHER CLASS VISITED US AS STUDENTS. YOU GAVE THEM  SOME ACTIVITIES : CROSSWORD  TO FIND VOCABULARY ABOUT SUMMER TIME, THERE ALSO WAS A GUESSING GAME .
 FINALLY YOU PLAYED A SONG FOR THEM TO FILL IN WITH SOME VOCABULARY: "ENDLESS SUMMER".
FOR HOMEWORK YOU WERE ASIGNED AN EXERCISE WITH TWO PARTS:  FIRST YOU HAVE TO MATCH THE HALVES  OF A SENTENCE AND   THEN YOU MUST COMPLETE THEM WITH A RELATIVE PRONOUN.

 THIS CLASS WE INTRODUCED THE USE OF DEFINING AND NON DEFINING RELATIVE CLAUSES. WE ANALISED THEIR USE.
YOU STARTED BY REFRESHING THE USE OF RELATIVE PRONOUNS: WHO, WHICH,WHOSE, WHAT,WHEN, WHERE.
WE COMMENTED IN WHICH CASES WE COULD OMIT THE PRONOUN.THEN YOU REVISED TWO SENTENCES WITH CLAUSES AND YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO SAY IN WHICH CASES THE INFORMATION WAS NOT ESSENTIAL.
THEN WE READ AN ARTICLE ABOUT ABOT A FAMOUS ACTOR/SINGER:JOHN TRAVOLTA. YOU ANALISED A TEXT ABOUT HIS LIFESTYLE AND HIS PASSION: FLYING PLANES-IT TOOK YOU MORE THAN THE EXPECTED, BUT YOU COULD INSERT THE CLAUSES: WHO LIVES,WHICH IS BUILT,WHOSE 3.5 MILLION MANSION,MOST OF WHOM SHARE,ETC
 WE ALSO ANALISED THE VOCABULARY ON THE TEXT.
YOU HAD TO CHECK ON THE ACTIVITIES FOR NEXT FLIPPED CLASS. THE TOPIC IS: SUMMER HOLIDAYS. WE FOUND OUT SOME PUZZLES BUT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BRING YOUR OWN MATERIAL FROM HOME.

FOR HOMEWORK YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO DECIDE IF THE SENTENCES ARE BEST COMPLETED WITH A DEFINING OR NON DEFINING RELATIVE CLAUSE AND  AFTER THAT, YOU HAVE TO  ADD A RELATIVE  PRONOUNS AND COMMAS WHERE NECESSARY. YOU CAN ALSO OMIT THE PRONOUN IF POSSIBLE

ON THE FIRST PART OF THE CLASS WE REVISED HOMEWORK.
YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO TURN INTO DIRECT SPEECH SOME INFORMATION FROM AN AGENDA. YOU DID IT WELL. THEN WE CONTINUED FILLING IN AN EXERCISE REPORTING QUESTIONS, STATEMENTS AND COMMANDS.
THEN THERE WAS ANOTHER EXERCISE IN WHICH FIRST YOU HAD TO MAKE UP THE QUESTIONS BASED ON THE ANSWERS OF A DIALOGUE AND THEN  YOU HAD TO REPORT THE QUESTIONS.
FOR HOMEWORK YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO REPORT SOME QUESTIONS YOU HAVE ON A PHOTOCOPY.
ON THE SECOND PART,WE FINISHED WATCHING THE FILM DRAGON FLY. WE TALKED ABOUT THE OTHER POSSIBLE ENDINGS FOR THE FILM AND YOU GAVE YOUR OPINIONS ABOUT IT.
FOR NEXT CLASS YOU ARE ALSO SUPPOSED TO BRING IDEAS FOR THE SPECIAL CLASS FOR THE TERM.

THIS WEEK WE HAD A COMPLETE REVISON ABOUT REPORTED SPEECH.
WE REVISED QUESTIONS AND COMMANDS  IN REPORTED SPEECH.
WE PRACTISED THAT BY WORKING IN PAIRS. ONE STUDENT SAY SOMETHING TO THE OTHER AND THE SECOND STUDENT HAD TO REPORT IT.. WE HAD A WRITTEN EXERCISE TO FILL IN WRITING IN DIRECT SPEECH WHAT HAS ALREADY BEEN REPORTED.
WE HAD A LISTENING IN WHICH YOU HAD TO REPORT WHAT PEOPLE SAID.
FOR HOMEWORK YOU ARE TO FILL IN AN EXERCISE  TO TURN  A TEXT INTO  DIRECT STYLE -

ON THE SECOND PART YOU DISCUSSED ABOUT WHO TO SEND THE LETTER FOR DFC PROJECT. STUDENTS FINALLY DECIDED TO SEND THE LETTER TO THE DIFFERENT PARTIES THAT ARE STANDING FOR THE NEXT LOCAL ELECTIONS. STUDENTS ARE SUPPOSED TO FIND OUT THE NAMES FOR THE DIFFERENT CANDIDATES..
FINALLY, WE CONTINUED WATCHING THE FILM DRAGONFLY: WE MADE A SUMMARY OF THE STORY, ANALISED SOME VOCABULARY.

THERE WERE ONLY TWO STUDENTS IN THE CLASS; ANGEL AND JULIO.
ON THE FIRST PART WE REVISED SOME HOMEWORK ABOUT REPORTED SPEECH.YOU GUYS ARE LAZY PEOPLE! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO REPORT SENTENCES AND QUESTIONS.
WE INTRODUCED THE USE OF SOME OTHER VERBS TO REPORT; ASK, TELL, ORDER,INVITE, REMIND, BEG, REFUSE, ETC. YOU FILLED IN AN EXERCISE WITH THOSE VERBS.
WE HAD A LISTENING ABOUT TWO NEIGHBOURS WHO DO NOT GET ON WELL, GIVING THEIR DIFFERENT OPINIONS ABOUT EACH OTHER.THEN YOU HAD TO REPORT THEIR  OPINIONS.
ON THE LAST EXERCISE, JULIO HAD TO REPORT DIFFERENT KIND OF QUESTIONS ANGEL WAS ASKING HIM AND THE OTHER WAY ROUND. THAT WAS VERY FUNNY!!
FINALLY YOU TYPED A CLEAR COPY OF THE SPANISH VERSION(  ANGEL WAS
SUPPOSED TO DO IT AT HOME!)FOR THE LETTER THE GROUP IS SENDING TO THE TOWN HALL CONCERNING THE PROJECT FOR DFC.( VICTOR WAS ASSIGNED THE ENGLISH VERSION.).
NOW YOU HAVE TO FIND OUT THE NAME FOR THE  HEAD OF THE URBANIZATION DEPARTMENT IN THAT OFFICE.
FOR HOMEWWORK YOU WERE ASIGNED SOME OTHER EXERCISE  TO USE THE NEW VERS FOR REPORTED SPEECH.
